When my doctor told me that I was allergic to coffee (among other things) I fell prostrate on the ground and smacked my head on the floor. No, not really. But it might have eased the anguish. So I turned instead to alternative hot beverages. In my search for an alternative I discovered Chai. Not that I can drink it much because even the small amount of caffiene in tea sends my digestive tract into spasms. But I allow the indulgence on the rare occasions.
I have a friend over at Mawson’s Hut who is a coffee aficionado. He is particular about the coffee he drinks. I couldn’t understand why. If it’s hot and isn’t brewed too long isn’t it good?
No.
Cafes who make fake Chai tea should be banned. It shouldn’t be made out of powder. And it definitely shouldn’t be made out of syrup. If you can’t brew a good cup of REAL chai you have no business selling it.
